New Courses:

"Ethics for people doing Biofeedback" (A.K.A. Ethics for biofeedback providers)

Tired of taking the same old ethics courses to meet state license requirements? This 5 CE, $100, APA approved, distance based course is intended for clinicians, educators, and coaches who have incorporated or are interested in incorporating biofeedback (including neurofeedback) intervention and psychophysiological assessment techniques into their practices. It emphasizes issues in ethics and professional conduct which are of special interest to clinicians incorporating biofeedback - many of which are not clearly spelled out in typical codes of ethics and conduct promulgated by clinical organizations. Participants attend three audiovisual lectures (hear the instructor's voice while watching slides) & read text files. At the end of the course, participants answer a set of short essay questions covering key concepts in the course. No text is required for this course.

"BFB Equipment Familiarization"

Many people who take the Foundation's distance based courses have never used biofeedback equipment and do not have access to biofeedback equipment to try it out. The Foundation is offering a $350 course which provides a limited experience with an actual biofeedback device.

Other recent courses include EEG BFB / neurofeedback, mentoring, etc. - please see our web site for more details.

Updated Courses:

Virtually all of our courses have been updated recently. Our general biofeedback course, Pelvic Floor Disorders course, and Pain course now include movies showing psychophysiological assessments and profiles.

Discounts: Remember that we give $100 off of additional courses (other than ethics) you take with us.

CE Approvals: Our program was recently approved by the APA (American Psychological Association) so psychologists and clinicians in many other professions will find it easier to get CE credit for their courses. We are also approved by the NBCC (National Board of Certified Counselors) and the California Board of Behavioral Science so counselors and other professions covered by the Board can get CE credits as well.

Stens Corporation Biofeedback Training - The Stens Corporation will be offering several biofeedback training sessions in various cities during the year. For more information about their training programs, please see the Stens Corporation web site.
